About the position
The Business Intelligence Engineer at Bremer is responsible for solving complex business problems by deriving valuable insights from data. This role involves delivering accurate and actionable insights through visualizations, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses, while also developing and supporting underlying data models and ensuring data quality and governance. The position operates in an agile environment, promoting collaboration and iterative work processes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate and actionable insights through visualizations and dashboards.
- Develop and support underlying data models and data pipelines.
- Ensure data governance and data quality efforts are maintained.
- Coordinate with internal business partners to discuss business needs and execute work iteratively.
- Determine business value and establish key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Research and solve problems with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 6 years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant professional experience in business intelligence or analytics.
- Experience with business intelligence and database reporting tools such as Quick Sight, Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Proficient in querying and transforming data to support scalable management information.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
