About the position

The Business Intelligence Intern position at Combined Insurance, a Chubb company, offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment during the Summer of 2025. Interns will engage in various tasks that support the Finance department, focusing on data analysis, reporting, and visualization, while developing essential skills in business intelligence and data management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and preparing weekly and monthly reports for the Finance department.
• Create data visualizations and innovative dashboard designs.
• Maintain large sets of data, ensuring validation, cleansing, and troubleshooting.
• Create and maintain online automated reports using Power BI.
• Update and maintain SQL databases to ensure data quality.
• Analyze and integrate data from multiple sources.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, SQL, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with DAX and/or Power BI is a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 is required.
• Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably graduating in December 2025 or May 2026.
• Local to the Chicagoland area and able to work in the office 3 times a week.
