About the position

The Business Intelligence Reporting Developer at Wells Fargo is responsible for supporting and developing existing dashboard products within the HR Information Technology - Reporting and Analytics team. This role involves creating business insights using BI reporting tools like PowerBI and Tableau, participating in various HR-related initiatives, and improving service quality within the reporting teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects associated with the Human Resources domain, including development, deployment, training, and support of reporting dashboards.
• Identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements within the Human Resources reporting teams, through testing and review of business intelligence dashboards.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for low to moderately complex projects and programs associated with business intelligence reporting products.
• Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges related to low to medium risk reporting deliverables and that require research and evaluation in partnership with the Human Resources reporting teams.
• Present recommendations for resolving issues or escalate issues as needed to meet established service level agreements.
• Exercise independent judgment while developing an understanding of HR and technology domains in reference to security and compliance requirements.
• Provide information to business and technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, education.
• 1+ year experience with PowerBI or Tableau report design and development.
