About the position

The BI Report Developer role at Wells Fargo HR Information Technology focuses on supporting and developing existing dashboard products within the HR Data Analytics Reporting Services team. The position involves creating business insights using PowerBI and/or Tableau, participating in various HR-related initiatives, and improving service quality in reporting. The developer will engage in the design, coding, testing, and documentation of business intelligence reporting products, while also collaborating with HR reporting teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure compliance with security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects associated with the Human Resources domain, including development, deployment, training, and support of reporting dashboards.
• Identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements within the Human Resources reporting teams, through testing and review of business intelligence dashboards.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for low to moderately complex projects and programs associated with business intelligence reporting products.
• Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges related to low to medium risk reporting deliverables, requiring research and evaluation in partnership with the Human Resources reporting teams.
• Present recommendations for resolving issues or escalate issues as needed to meet established service level agreements.
• Exercise independent judgment while developing an understanding of HR and technology domains in reference to security and compliance requirements.
• Provide information to business and technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
• 1+ year experience with PowerBI or Tableau report design and development.
