About the position

The Business Intelligence & Reporting Manager will lead a data analysis team to drive value across the organization by transforming data into actionable insights. This role involves managing and mentoring the BI & Data Analytics Team, collaborating with IT teams, and serving as a liaison between the business intelligence team and other departments. The manager will oversee the development of BI strategies, implement advanced analytics methodologies, and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead & develop a team by hiring, managing & mentoring the BI & Data Analytics Team
• Transform data into actionable insights, enabling better business decisions
• Provide guidance on data analysis, visualization, and reporting to drive actionable insights
• Collaborate with IT teams to manage data architecture, infrastructure, and governance
• Serve as the primary liaison between the business intelligence team and other departments
• Provide reporting and data analysis services to a highly decentralized organization
• Contribute to the development of BI strategy roadmap and identify opportunities for innovation
• Recommend data-driven solutions and execute them
• Collaborate on the development of KPIs and performance metrics
• Oversee the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Data Analysis tools and platforms
• Implement advanced analytics methodologies such as predictive modeling, machine learning, and data mining
• Partner with IT to ensure data integrity, availability, and security across systems
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal governance standards
• Establish best practices for data management
• Prepare quarterly system reviews for senior management
• Complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, data science or related fields
• 1 or more year of experience leading cross-functional data or BI teams
• Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI &/or Tableau)
• Understanding of data storage strategies (Data Lakes, Data Warehouse, structured and unstructured data)
• Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL processes, and data modeling

Nice-to-haves

• Azure data warehousing solutions (e.g. Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Fabric) or other cloud data warehousing
• Foundational experience in R, Python or similar programming language
• Familiarity with machine learning, AI, and predictive analytics
• Prior experience building and deploying business intelligence solutions and driving business impact through data insights and analytics
