About the position

The Business Intelligence/Reports and Database Developer will support the FAA's National Airspace System Engineering Support Services contract by providing engineering and operational processes for documentation, Safety Risk Management, and systems security. This role involves complex assignments, project planning, and collaboration with various disciplines to develop and implement solutions for diverse problems within the NAS.

Responsibilities

• Perform multiple, varying, and complex assignments under limited direction.
• Act as a contributing specialist on large work activities or as a team leader for small work activities.
• Apply advanced knowledge of engineering principles to develop plans and techniques to improve programs and policies.
• Understand interactions with other disciplines and consider external objectives when developing solutions.
• Define, plan, and organize resources to accomplish organizational objectives.
• Allocate resources for small work activities within established schedules.
• Act as a key technical point of contact for assigned activities.
• Contribute to management/technical reports and communicate project results.
• Provide recommendations to improve work processes and guidance to lower-level staff.
• Develop and recommend techniques to address problem situations.

Requirements

• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required.
• Experience with NAS facilities, systems, and equipment is highly desirable.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Oracle Analytics/OBIEE Server Administration experience including installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle components.
• User/Profile Management experience with Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Experience in backup and recovery strategies for the OAS environment.
• Patch Management and Upgrades experience.
• Oracle Analytics/OBIEE development experience, particularly with reporting and dashboards.
• Experience in designing and executing ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience in data modeling and repository (RPD) design within Oracle BI.
• Experience working with Oracle RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL, Materialized Views, and analytical SQL.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Informatica & ODI ETL tools.
• Ability to track/manage large work tasks.
