About the position

This is a fully remote position. As a CBRE Business Intelligence Sr. Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting sophisticated research, data mining, reporting, and interpretation of company performance metrics. This job is part of the Data Science & Analytics job function. You will review data that supports improving efficiency and predicting outcomes to develop business intelligence. Your role will involve driving business requirement collection, generating business dashboard and reporting requirement documentation, and employing use case identification or documentation. You will also generate process flow diagrams and tool integration data mapping, and review reports using aggregate data from different sources to help build a complete evaluation, improvement, or recommendation. In this position, you will review information for accuracy and respond to management's and vendors' advanced requests. You will understand and work with sophisticated scenario planning tools and models, investigate new trends in general business conditions, and find opportunities for large improvements among clients and the company. Collaboration with personnel from other departments and information technology groups will be essential to facilitate successful project implementations, acting as a liaison between the business and development teams. You will also review the maintenance and reporting of benchmarks and performance metrics, acting as a domain expert for key systems and processes and day-to-day functions. Your work will primarily involve standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. You will explain sophisticated information to others in straightforward situations, applying general knowledge of standard principles and techniques to tackle routine problems. Leading by example and modeling CBRE's RISE values will be an integral part of your role.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience; a combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Deep understanding of Application Integrations.
• Ability to collect and create technical documentation.
• Proficiency in SQL language including Tables and Views, and language scripting for Integration and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Core desire to collaborate as part of a team to develop and implement innovative solutions on multiple simultaneous projects.
• Understanding of problem-solving procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
• Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience and appropriate judgment.
• In-depth knowledge of G-Suite products, including Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with an inquisitive mindset.
