About the position

The Business Intelligence Developer at ZOLL Medical Corp. plays a crucial role in enhancing patient outcomes through the design and creation of enterprise-level reports, dashboards, and business analysis solutions. This position involves collaboration with vendors, the business applications team, and customers to support the implementation of a new ERP/MES system and to develop best practice Data Warehousing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of a new ERP/MES system
• Participate with other team members in the design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of best practice Data Warehousing solutions
• Perform necessary SQL server programming as well as tasks using SQL Server Integration Services and SQL Server Reporting Services
• Evaluate Business Intelligence system performance and make technical recommendations to resolve any performance issues
• Lead the design and implementation of data models and data loading packages that deliver information in the most efficient manner possible for use in reporting and analytics by both IT and business users
• Develop, execute, and document complete, accurate, and structured system acceptance test plans

Requirements

• Experience with SQL Server programming
• Proficiency in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts
• Ability to design and implement data models
• Experience in developing dashboards and reports for business analysis

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with ERP/MES systems
• Experience in a healthcare or medical device environment
• Knowledge of performance tuning for Business Intelligence systems
