The Technical Project Manager will play a pivotal role in driving integrated teams to deliver technology solutions that support key product initiatives. This position requires close collaboration with product owners, architects, engineers, and quality assurance teams to ensure that all aspects of the project are executed effectively. The Technical Project Manager will work within and across various business units to prioritize, plan, and execute the development schedule for major product releases, ensuring that all deliverables meet the required standards of quality and timeliness. In this role, the Technical Project Manager will manage and track team velocity, financials, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) in relation to the project plan and published progress reports. They will be responsible for assigning development resources to activities and monitoring performance across different resource channels. Additionally, the Technical Project Manager will maintain a dependency plan between planned sprints across engineering, infrastructure, and third-party vendors, ensuring that all dependencies are managed effectively. The Technical Project Manager will also be tasked with managing and appropriately escalating delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes tied to product development initiatives. They may perform hands-on reviews of product backlogs, designs, code, test scripts, and results to address any delivery impediments or product quality issues. Conducting daily stand-ups and retrospectives at the end of each sprint will be essential to ensure that the team is continuously learning and improving from past experiences. Furthermore, the Technical Project Manager is expected to identify opportunities to adopt innovative technologies and build strong relationships with business and technology partners, addressing and resolving any issues that may arise.
