About the position

The Business Intelligence Visual Developer role at BAE Systems involves supporting the Data Analytics team by managing and enhancing Business Intelligence applications. The position focuses on research, implementation, and support of various BI tools, ensuring efficient operation and user satisfaction while contributing to the mission of strategic deterrence through innovation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and provide recommendations for the selection, implementation, and support for Business Intelligence Applications.
• Provide primary support for Business Intelligence Applications such as Tableau, Power BI, and Plotley Dash.
• Set up administrator and service accounts, maintain system documentation, tune system performance, and install software on servers and workstations.
• Conduct capacity and performance analysis and provide system configuration change and upgrade recommendations.
• Use automated tools and scripts to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Work with internal and external organizations to support various customer user level requirements, including resolving elevated end user support requests.
• Research and deploy advanced technologies to enhance BI applications.
• Implement approved system security policies, including user access and permission configurations.
• Monitor application status, support application event triage, and work with vendors for event resolution.
• Provide technical assistance, training, and system documentation for users.

Requirements

• Valid Secret Clearance security clearance.
• Valid CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Experience in Unit testing.
• Master's degree.
