About the position

The Business Intelligent Developer at HCA Healthcare is responsible for developing and supporting analytics platforms using Google Cloud Services, specifically Big Query and Looker. This role involves creating curated analytics schemas, building logical data models, and designing data visualizations to identify cost-saving opportunities across the enterprise. The position requires collaboration with various departments and engagement with business leadership to understand analytics needs and processes.

Responsibilities

• Development of support for Google Analytics Platform with Big Query and Looker.
• Development and support of enterprise Qlik Analytics Platform (Qlik Sense, Qlikview, NPrinting).
• Design and develop database schemas, ETL workflows, benchmarks, and clustering models.
• Support application maintenance, documentation, performance tuning, unit testing, and end-user support.
• Engage with business leadership, ITG cohorts, and team colleagues to understand business needs and processes related to analytics development.
• Work collaboratively across departments and within peer groups.
• Contribute to the success of the strategic initiatives of HCA and Reporting, Benchmarking, and Analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 7+ years of experience in BI Development and Design
• 7+ years of experience in BI Development and Design
• 3+ years of experience in Healthcare or Healthcare-related operations (preferred)
• Advanced SQL
• Experience with BI Products (Looker, QlikView, Qlik Sense, Power BI)
• ETL Tool Experience (SSIS, Informatica, Talend, Alteryx)
• Python for Data Analysis
