About the position

The position is focused on guiding and accelerating the profitability and growth of the Direct Sales Teams within the Energy and OEM segments at IDEX. The role involves developing and executing strategies for sustainable growth, implementing sales discipline, and managing key accounts while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies for top line, sustainable & profitable growth.
  • Implement solid sales discipline throughout the segment.
  • Evolve Key account management processes to support sustained growth.
  • Direct dedicated sales management on key strategic customers/targets.
  • Oversee segment sales forecasts and tactical plans to achieve results.
  • Monitor execution of commercial strategy and collect segment VOC by visiting customers.
  • Apply tools to the order to cash cycle for world-class execution.
  • Identify and deliver year-over-year process evolution of quote to order & aftermarket processes.
  • Help develop strategic and tactical plans for growth and profit objectives.
  • Identify and define new business and product opportunities.

Requirements

  • BS in Engineering or Business Management, Operations, or Sales and Marketing background.
  • Minimum of 10 years of management experience in operations leadership or factory management role.
  • Proven track record of progressive growth in responsibility and successful leadership/business competencies.
  • Excellent business and commercial acumen.
  • Strong organizational insight and team-building skills.
