About the position

WESTconsin Credit Union is excited to announce an opening for a Business Loan Processing and Operations Supervisor. This person is responsible for the oversight and management of processing, servicing, quality assurance, audits, and compliance for the Business Loans & Services Department. This individual leads a team of Business Loan Specialists that partner with Business Loan Officers and Credit Analysts to grow and manage a large and complex lending portfolio. This leader is responsible for partnering with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to continuously improve and enhance our business loans and services operations.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes, lead and monitor the business loan processing duties to ensure compliance with policies and procedures are being followed
  • Establishes, lead and monitor the business loan servicing duties to ensure that compliance with policies and procedures are being followed
  • Establishes, lead and monitor the quality assurance and audit functions of the department are being met
  • Establishes, lead and monitor the compliance regulations that are being followed and enhanced to regulatory standards
  • Proactively identify areas of improvement to increase the effectiveness of loan processing, servicing, audits, and compliance
  • Ensures high-level member service by responding to inquiries and meeting service level agreements, ensuring a positive experience for both internal and external members
  • Actively participates in organizational strategic planning projects and process improvements initiatives as a subject matter expert for the Business Loans & Services department.
  • Provides support to processing, servicing, and business audit teams assisting with the successful execution of daily and other tasks as needed.
  • Monitors and ensure best-in-class member experience metrics are maintained and met when processing and servicing a large business lending portfolio.
  • Completes all required training on compliance regulations (e.g. HMDA, CFPB 1071, Flood, Adverse Actions, Fair Lending, SBA) and ensure adherence to the regulatory requirements.
  • Recommends and supports initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, and the adoption of new products and systems per the credit unions strategic plan.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of related work and/or leadership experience required
  • Exhibits a positive, upbeat "can do" attitude
  • Accountable; takes ownership of the role in organization
  • Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and establish priorities
