About the position

The Business Management Analyst position at RIVA Solutions Inc. involves providing essential business and financial management support to various organizations within the William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC). The role focuses on drafting and maintaining internal and external functionalities, aligning with Program Office requirements, and includes responsibilities such as data entry of budgets and financial reports, and administrative support.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development of Statements of Work (SOW) and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE) for the FAA WJHTC Program Office.
  • Provide day-to-day business and administrative support to the FAA WJHTC Management Team and Program Directorates.
  • Collect and analyze data to assess organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Monitor, track, and report on organizational and programmatic performance trends.
  • Develop strategies for the rapid application of new technologies and procedures.
  • Assist in the evaluation of budget estimates, financial data validation, and tracking budget-related recommendations.
  • Participate in and support meetings, conferences, and forums for the FAA WJHTC Program Offices and other external activities.
  • Provide administrative support, including correspondence, inventory tracking, and preparation of technical writing and graphical reports.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational guidelines by developing and coordinating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Recommend improvements to address deficiencies in business performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field with at least 24 semester hours in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.
  • 3 years relevant experience.
  • Must possess experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, including proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior federal government experience is a plus.
