About the position

The Business Manager/Controller will oversee the financial operations of the Development Company, ensuring efficient management of resources and driving the company's financial strategy. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts, compliance with IFRS and GAAP standards, and proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
• Conduct thorough account analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage payroll processes ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Prepare financial forecasts and budgets to guide decision-making processes.
• Ensure adherence to financial management policies and procedures.
• Oversee corporate accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency.
• Monitor compliance with IFRS and GAAP standards in all financial reporting activities.
• Provide insightful reports on financial performance to senior management.
• Interface with lenders to obtain financing approval and process construction draws.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in management and accounting analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks.
• Strong data analysis skills and financial acumen.
• Mid-level understanding of IFRS and GAAP financial concepts.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in account analysis.
