About the position

As a Business Analysis Manager at Capital One, you will leverage your strategic and analytical skills to tackle significant company challenges. This role involves collaborating with a team of professionals to develop and test strategies that impact the company's bottom line, all within a supportive and innovative environment that encourages continuous learning and personal growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and competitive success.
  • Manage and develop 1-2 analysts, providing coaching and mentoring to retain talent.
  • Create and implement new product and pricing strategies for various lending products.
  • Lead direct-to-consumer marketing efforts and strategic intent for retail-distributed products.
  • Build targeted insights to inform new customer experiences and technology concepts.
  • Drive improvements in credit performance by connecting consumer credit trends to historical behavior.
  • Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, building business requirements and executing product strategy.
  • Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Capital One, including IT, Sales, Operations, and Finance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering).
  • At least 2 years of experience in analysis.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Business or a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in analysis.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial services.
  • 1+ year of experience in consulting.
  • 2+ years of experience in people management.
