About the position
The Business Manager at CHRISTUS HomeCare is responsible for overseeing the administrative support and non-clinical operations of the agency. This role involves managing contracts, HR/medical files, and ensuring timely completion of clerical tasks while fostering a positive relationship with vendors and maintaining compliance with policies and regulations. The position emphasizes a culture of caring and support for both employees and patients.
Responsibilities
- Manage, coordinate, and direct the administrative support and non-clinical operations of the agency.
- Oversee and maintain contracts, binders, and HR/medical files for all agency employees and contract staff.
- Review, reconcile, and submit invoices to Home Office in accordance with LHC Group policy.
- Perform and manage billing audits per policy and follow up with corrections.
- Manage clerical staff and oversee all non-clinical workflow and processes in the office.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of healthcare experience or 3 years of experience in an office administration role, or a bachelor's degree.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong process and people leadership abilities.
