About the position

The Business Objectives Implementation Associate will play a crucial role in the Implementation Team, which is dedicated to overseeing High Net Worth client services. This includes administration, training, and supervision, supporting approximately 45 teams across Portfolio Management, Wealth Advisory, and Trust Company. The associate will serve as the primary liaison between client-facing teams, Technology, and Operations, with a focus on enhancing and maintaining the complex operating platform that supports these services. In this position, the associate will be responsible for developing a comprehensive understanding of the functions, systems, and processes within the Private Wealth (PW) business. This understanding will enable them to identify and propose both tactical and strategic solutions to address deficiencies and capitalize on opportunities within business processes. The associate will proactively suggest improvements and innovations by synthesizing insights from various areas of the organization. The role requires mastering relevant technology platforms and collaborating with business users to identify enhancement opportunities and priorities. The associate will also participate in user acceptance testing of new applications and systems to ensure they meet the needs of the business. Additionally, the associate will contribute to change management efforts by designing and implementing strategies, conducting training sessions, and managing stakeholder engagement to facilitate the smooth adoption of new systems and processes. Analyzing data exception themes will be a key responsibility, as the associate will need to identify root causes and recommend system enhancements to prevent recurring issues. This will involve participating in daily operational activities, approvals, controls, reporting, and ad-hoc projects to ensure the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the implementation team.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between client-facing Private Wealth teams, Technology, Operations, and Legal & Compliance.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of functions, systems, and processes across the PW business.
  • Identify and propose tactical and strategic solutions for addressing deficiencies and opportunities in business processes.
  • Proactively suggest improvements and innovations by connecting insights from various areas.
  • Master relevant technology platforms and collaborate with business users to pinpoint enhancement opportunities and priorities.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing of new applications and systems.
  • Contribute to change management by designing and implementing strategies and conducting training sessions.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in financial services, with familiarity in private wealth business, investment advisory, and asset allocation frameworks.
  • Proven track record of academic and professional success.
  • Driven by intellectual curiosity and a collaborative spirit, excelling in taking on new challenges.
  • Strong organizational and stakeholder engagement skills with excellent follow-through.
  • Skilled in managing deliverables and projects both independently and collaboratively.
  • Innovative approach to presentations, business communications, and oral presentations.
  • Experienced in program and project implementation and user adoption.
  • Proficient in Salesforce (CRM) and experienced in New Account Opening, Client Reporting, and Portfolio Accounting systems considered a plus.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook, and exceptionally skilled in PowerPoint and Excel (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).
  • Ability to analyze large data sets, identify patterns, and create visuals.

Nice-to-haves

  • Tableau experience is preferred.
