Menifee Lakes Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Business Office Assistant/Payroll Manager to join our team. This full-time position offers a competitive pay rate of $23-$27 per hour, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in skilled nursing billing and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a skilled nursing facility, we are focused on delivering a transformative care experience for our guests, and we are looking for dynamic associates who share this vision. The Business Office Assistant/Payroll Manager will primarily assist the Business Office Manager with accounts receivable duties. This includes maintaining and reconciling census data in PCC software, tracking authorizations for payment from various payers, submitting claims in compliance with state and federal regulations, and posting cash receipts and deposits. The role also involves mailing monthly private statements and verifying payer eligibility twice a month. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. In addition to the business office responsibilities, the Payroll Manager duties include administering payroll functions in accordance with accounting principles and facility policies. This involves processing and verifying time cards, preparing payroll checks, and ensuring timely payment to employees. The Payroll Manager will also assist in implementing day-to-day payroll policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This position requires a high level of professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
