In this role, you will work closely with the Medicaid Supervisor to assist in the Medicaid application process, recertifications, and various administrative tasks that support our residents and their families. As a Business Office Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include gathering and organizing documentation required for Medicaid applications, ensuring that all necessary information is collected from clients and their families. You will also be responsible for maintaining communication with the social security office, managing accounts receivable, and handling collections as needed. This position is full-time, with a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life environment. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Medicaid Supervisor with Medicaid applications and recertifications.
  • Collect and organize documentation from clients and families for public benefits applications.
  • Communicate with the social security office regarding client information and benefits.
  • Manage accounts receivable and handle collections as necessary.
  • Participate in meetings related to Medicaid processes and client care.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in administrative roles, preferably in a healthcare or social services setting.
