About the position

The Business Office Manager (BOM) at Connect Senior Care is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the supportive services of the nursing home facility. This includes managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing Medicare/Medicaid billing, maintaining records, and handling human resources functions. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate supportive services of the facility.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Prepare Medicare/Medicaid billing documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Oversee human resources functions within the facility.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager, or Administrative Assistant.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Medicaid application process for long-term care.
  • Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS Outlook.
  • Hands-on experience with office machines such as fax machines and printers.
  • Familiarity with email scheduling tools like Email Scheduler and Boomerang.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • High School diploma or GED; additional qualification as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary is a plus.
