About the position

The Business Office Manager/Human Resources Manager/Payroll Coordinator at The Pavilion Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is responsible for overseeing the Human Resources department and Business Office functions. This role includes managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate billing and financial reporting, and coordinating payroll processes. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain relationships with various stakeholders, including employees, residents, and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all functions of the Business Office, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of billings to reimbursement agencies and private payers.
  • Set up and maintain financial files for residents, including billing and admission papers.
  • Administer and reconcile resident trust accounts and petty cash.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employees, residents, visitors, vendors, and corporate office.
  • Manage Human Resources functions including planning, recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Review bi-weekly payroll reports for accuracy and communicate with the corporate payroll team.

Requirements

  • Two years of bookkeeping experience within a healthcare setting.
  • Experience managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of billing and collection practices/techniques.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and vendors.
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to multi-task.
