The Business Office Manager at Del Rio Nursing and Rehabilitation is a pivotal role that combines financial management with human resources responsibilities. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, particularly in managing private pay collections, ensuring that unbilled claims remain below 0.25% of third-party revenue, and that Medicaid pending accounts receivable balances over 120 days do not exceed 25% of the total balance at the end of each month. Additionally, the manager will oversee resident trust fund reconciliations, ensuring they are completed by the 5th business day of each month, and will work to maintain zero deficiencies during state trust fund audits. In this role, the Business Office Manager will also monitor bad debt levels to prevent significant increases and will establish payment arrangements in the absence of the Admissions Coordinator. A key aspect of the position involves securing information regarding residents' financial statuses and acting as a billing liaison between the Central Support Office (CSO) and residents or their families. Furthermore, the role encompasses various human resources duties, including recruiting, onboarding, orientation, payroll, and ensuring compliance with HR regulations.
