About the position

The Regional Business Office Services Manager LLH Revenue Cycle is responsible for overseeing the revenue cycle process for Riverside Health System's Senior Living division. This role includes managing cash and credit processes, supervising the LLH Cash Team, and providing support and training to facility-based business office managers. The position aims to ensure efficient billing, collections, and compliance with regulations while developing action plans to reduce bad debt and improve overall financial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Private Pay accounts receivable functions including billing, collections, resident trust, and Medicaid pending conversions for Senior Living.
  • Develop action plans to reduce Bad Debt and manage variances impacting the organization.
  • Train, lead, and develop business office managers in revenue cycle operations.
  • Perform quarterly facility site visits to assess training needs and conduct monthly AR review sessions with facility teams.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of cash received for the LLH Division.
  • Collaborate with RHS Revenue Cycle for the At Home Division posted in Epic.
  • Review monthly audits for patterns and training needs, and develop audit programs for compliance with CMS/DMAS Regulations.
  • Audit and reconcile patient trust accounts to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Serve as a liaison with internal and external auditors and oversee credit balance management.
  • Create and maintain monthly AR Trend Reports, Scorecards, and Dashboards to monitor facility AR performance.
  • Update existing and write new policies and procedures as needed.
  • Provide Financial EMR support for Senior Living and respond to Service Now Tickets regarding financial and resident setup.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Health Services.
  • 3-4 years direct experience in LTC (Lifelong Health) Billing and Follow-up.
  • 2 years supervisory experience (preferred).
  • Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) - Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) within 1 Year (required).
  • Six Sigma Green Belt - Riverside Health System (RHS) within 1 Year (required).
  • Change Acceleration Process Training - Riverside Health System (RHS) within 180 Days (required).
