About the position

The Business Office Manager at Brookdale River Valley is responsible for overseeing the business office operations of the community, ensuring high-quality care and personalized services for residents. This role includes managing staff, ensuring compliance with operational processes, and driving profitable growth while maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the business office operations of the community.
  • Attract, engage, develop, and retain community associates.
  • Support the Executive Director in driving profitable growth and compliance with operational processes.
  • Ensure effective communication with associates, residents, families, vendors, and visitors.
  • Oversee billing for services provided to residents and lead the timely collection of receivables.
  • Manage the payroll process to ensure associates are paid correctly.
  • Ensure vendor invoices are billed appropriately and processed for timely payment.
  • Support an inclusive community culture.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school required, or additional years of experience can be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
  • Minimum of three years related experience and/or training required.
  • Previous managerial and office setting experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) setting.
