About the position

The Business Operations Manager at PBS Aerospace is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the business unit, ensuring efficiency and alignment with organizational goals. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and project management, with a focus on driving operational success in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee business unit activities such as Human Resources, security, policies and procedures, budgets, and other business functions.
• Manage daily business operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.
• Develop and implement business strategies that align with organizational objectives and drive growth.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Oversee key projects from conception to execution, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
• Identify potential risks to the business and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in business management or a related field, with a proven track record of driving operational success.
• Strong understanding of business processes, financial management, and project management principles.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and business management software (e.g., ERP systems).
