About the position

The position is responsible for all daily accounting functions of individual fixed income portfolios. This will require regular coordination with trading operations, client service team, custodian banks, and auditors. The Business Operations Analyst 2 will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data related to these portfolios. This includes investigating and resolving reconciling items with custodian banks, performing daily trade input, and conducting data integrity checks to maintain high standards of financial reporting. Additionally, the analyst will be involved in new account setup and maintenance, assisting clients and client managers with portfolio inquiries, and processing daily and monthly accounting software tasks. The role also encompasses preliminary client statement reviews, assisting with portfolio performance calculations, and preparing custom client reports. This position is integral to the smooth operation of the accounting functions and requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The analyst will be expected to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including clients and internal teams, to provide timely and accurate information regarding portfolio performance and accounting matters.
