About the position

Public Consulting Group LLC (PCG) is seeking a Business Operations Analyst 2 to join our team in Albany, New York. This position is integral to our mission of partnering with health, education, and human services agencies to improve lives. As a Business Operations Analyst, you will support multiple projects, primarily focusing on facilitating organizational assessments and evaluations of service delivery for state behavioral health authorities. Your role will involve conducting financial analysis for Medicaid rate studies and supplemental payment programs, as well as performing both quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform decision-making processes. In this position, you will assist in drafting written reports and preparing a wide range of materials required for client presentations and meetings. You will also play a key role in supervising and developing junior staff, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute effectively to our projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to exceptional client service and demonstrate the ability to lead confidently in various situations. This role requires a flexible, self-starter with intellectual curiosity, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to specific timelines and budgets. Attention to detail is crucial, as you will be working with large data sets and must ensure accurate results. You will need to recognize issues, identify solutions, and critically evaluate and improve upon current processes. Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills are essential, as well as solid organizational and time management abilities. Proficiency in all MS Office products is also required.

Responsibilities
