About the position

Public Consulting Group LLC (PCG) is seeking a Business Operations Analyst 2 to join our team in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This position is primarily focused on supporting multiple projects that facilitate organizational assessments and evaluations of service delivery for state behavioral health authorities. The analyst will conduct financial analysis for Medicaid rate studies and supplemental payment programs, as well as perform both quantitative and qualitative analysis. The role also involves assisting in drafting written reports and preparing a wide range of materials required for client presentations and meetings. Additionally, the analyst will assist with the supervision and development of junior staff, contributing to their growth and ensuring the quality of work produced by the team. The ideal candidate will possess a creative problem-solving ability and a results-oriented mindset, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional client service. The ability to lead confidently and interact effectively with various levels of management and clients is essential. The analyst should be a flexible self-starter with intellectual curiosity, capable of moving multiple projects forward within specific timelines and budgets while maintaining attention to detail. Strong analytical and financial data analysis skills are crucial, as is the ability to work with large data sets while ensuring accurate results. The candidate should also be able to critically evaluate and improve upon current processes, recognize issues, and identify solutions. Proficiency in all MS Office products is also necessary for this role.
