About the position

The Business Operations Analyst 4 role at PayPal involves supporting the development of strategic initiatives and long-term priorities within key ecosystem areas. The analyst will analyze data, prepare presentations for senior management, and produce reports on business operational performance. This position requires collaboration with various teams, including Finance, HR, and Talent Acquisition, to manage workforce planning and hiring forecasts effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of PayPal's strategy on high visibility initiatives and long-term strategic priorities.
  • Develop recommendations and prepare written and oral presentations for senior management.
  • Analyze data from various sources to compile a comprehensive picture of overall business operational performance.
  • Produce periodic reports on a wide range of strategic and tactical analysis.
  • Support Workforce Planning and hiring forecast activities, collaborating with multiple teams on strategic alignment and approvals.
  • Own Position Management in Workday and other workforce management tools, providing regular status and progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Partner with Finance, HR, Talent Acquisition, and Business leads to plan, forecast, and track hiring and attrition.
  • Balance urgent and effective action, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and initiative in problem resolution.
  • Coordinate, support, and provide guidance on initiatives to cross-functional PayPal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Advanced Excel and presentation-building skills (e.g., PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Power BI for data visualization and dashboard analysis.
  • Experience with Tableau for generating insights from large data sets.
  • High level of numeracy and data management capabilities for analyzing variances.
  • Experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives and liaising between various business departments.
  • Ability to lead effective processes and prepare materials for weekly and quarterly reviews.
  • Experience in process improvement and optimizing workflows.
