About the position

The Business Operations Analyst (APAC) role focuses on providing expert resolutions to inquiries related to the WorldCompliance database, particularly for the APAC region. The position involves analyzing and maintaining the database, supervising offshore research teams, and ensuring effective communication between various departments. The analyst will also interpret laws and regulations relevant to financial crimes and provide guidance to research teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide resolutions to content and policies related inquiries from sales, clients, and other departments regarding the WorldCompliance database.
• Perform analytics and maintenance of the database using SQL, Tableau/PowerBI, Excel, or Google search to identify gaps and enhancements.
• Review information from government sites or media sources to identify relevant topics for the database.
• Research and interpret laws and regulations in other countries, especially Anti Money Laundering Laws, to guide research teams.
• Supervise offshore researcher centers across multiple countries and continents.
• Monitor production and productivity, clarifying policies and standards, and coordinating projects and meetings.
• Act as a liaison between research teams and the department director regarding project management.
