About the position

The Business Operations Analyst for Contract Conversion & Integration (CCI) at Amazon Web Services (AWS) plays a crucial role in managing project accounting for Professional Services. This position involves ensuring accurate project setups, supporting operational processes, and collaborating with various cross-functional teams to enhance data quality and operational efficiency. The analyst will also be responsible for developing reporting mechanisms and training materials, while continuously seeking opportunities for process optimization and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver all Project accounting for Professional Services within AWS.
• Ensure complete and accurate project setup in the project accounting system consistent with the contract statement of work.
• Support sellers with executing operationally sound and customer-obsessed engagements.
• Partner daily with cross-functional teams including Sales, Legal, Business Operations, Systems, Insights, and Finance.
• Develop reporting mechanisms, dashboards, and processes to monitor data quality and integrity.
• Create and coordinate user acceptance test plans for dashboards and advise on best practices based on analysis.
• Continuously review and optimize operational processes and seek opportunities to reduce transactional workload.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
• Experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of finance, business management, and sales operations experience
• 1+ years contracting and government contracting experience
• Experience working within a high-growth, technology company.
