About the position

The Business Operations Analyst for Contract Conversion & Integration (CCI) at Amazon Web Services (AWS) plays a crucial role in managing project accounting for Professional Services. This position involves ensuring accurate project setups, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing reporting mechanisms to enhance operational efficiency. The analyst will also focus on continuous improvement of processes and provide training to internal stakeholders, all while supporting a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver all Project accounting for Professional Services within AWS.
• Ensure complete and accurate project setup in the project accounting system consistent with the contract statement of work.
• Support sellers in executing operationally sound and customer-obsessed engagements.
• Partner daily with cross-functional teams including Sales, Legal, Business Operations, Systems, Insights, and Finance.
• Develop reporting mechanisms, dashboards, and processes to monitor data quality and integrity.
• Create and coordinate user acceptance test plans for dashboards and advise on best practices based on analysis.
• Continuously review and optimize operational processes and seek opportunities to reduce transactional workload.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
• Experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of finance, business management, and sales operations experience.
• 1+ years of contracting and government contracting experience.
• Experience working within a high-growth, technology company.
