About the position

As a Business Operations Analyst at LexisNexis Risk Solutions, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our operational efficiency through three primary functions: Customer Services, Database Management, and Team/Project Management. In the Customer Services domain, you will be responsible for providing expert resolutions to inquiries related to content and policies from sales, clients, and various departments concerning our database. It is important to note that this role does not involve technical support or frontline assistance; rather, you will leverage your expertise in our database to address complex queries effectively. In the area of Database Management, your responsibilities will include performing analytics and maintenance of the database. You will utilize tools such as SQL, Tableau, Python, and MS Office, along with basic Google searches, to identify gaps, discrepancies, and potential enhancements. This proactive approach will ensure that our database remains relevant and comprehensive, meeting the evolving needs of our organization. The Team/Project Management aspect of your role will involve supervising offshore research centers located in eight offices across seven countries and four continents. You will monitor production and productivity, clarify policies and standards, and coordinate projects and meetings. Your leadership will be essential in optimizing the operations of these offices and the tools they utilize, ensuring that our teams are aligned and working efficiently towards common goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide resolutions to content and policies related inquiries from sales, clients, and other departments regarding the database.
  • Perform analytics and maintenance of the database using SQL, Tableau, Python, MS Office, or Google search.
  • Supervise offshore researcher centers located in 8 offices across 7 countries and 4 continents.
  • Monitor and ensure production and productivity of the research centers.
  • Clarify policies and standards for the research teams.
  • Coordinate projects and meetings to optimize office operations and tools.
  • Review source documents for data input performed by research centers.
  • Check accuracy and relevance of input and output data by visual examination.
  • Verify output against control/standard and review format and accuracy of profiles.
  • Provide research and administrative support to research centers and other departments.
  • Gather information, conduct background searches, and perform fact checks.
  • Conduct competitive research as needed.

Requirements

  • Requires a college or university degree, or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to teamwork, professional communication, and technical acumen.
  • Business fluency in Arabic and geopolitical knowledge of the region of responsibility.
  • Proficient in MS Office and general business practices.
  • Ability to supervise offshore research centers and be accountable for teamwork contributions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address routine issues using existing procedures and information.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SQL, Tableau, and Python for database management and analytics.
  • Familiarity with data verification and quality control processes.
  • Knowledge of competitive research methodologies.
