About the position

The Business Operations Analyst II will engage in a variety of business operation activities to support project development and construction within ENGIE North America's Grid Scale Renewables portfolio, which includes utility-scale wind, solar, and storage assets. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage budget control processes, accounting issues, and project management controls, ensuring effective financial oversight and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain budget control processes and accounting forensic tasks.
  • Assist in the formation and upkeep of SAP WBS projects/templates.
  • Analyze and report on Project Development/Construction CapEx and Operations/Maintenance OpEx spend data.
  • Produce and distribute monthly project status reports, updating budgets as necessary.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and process flows for business processes.
  • Lead training and orientation efforts for legacy and new enterprise systems.
  • Facilitate the transition of historic costs to full life cycle project budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Systems, Economics, Engineering, Accounting/Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines.
  • Experienced user of SAP and Coupa for data analysis and reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially advanced Excel.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to work independently in a matrixed organization.
