About the position

Pulpdent Corporation is seeking a full-time Business Operations Analyst to provide cross-functional support and expertise across strategy, sales & marketing operations, and finance teams. The role focuses on data analysis to inform business decisions, automate processes, and develop systems for tracking key performance indicators. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about the company's innovative dental products.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources (ERP system, CRM, databases) to help inform business decisions and support business objectives.
  • Automate key repetitive processes.
  • Utilize analyses to communicate recommendations to department heads, informing business decisions.
  • Develop systems, dashboards, and reports to help track key performance indicators across sales ops, finance, and product development.
  • Produce models and data visualizations utilizing spreadsheets and analytics platforms.
  • Analyze financial performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with finance to generate, format, track, and reconcile ongoing sales reporting related to rebates, chargebacks, credits, and commissions.
  • Analyze sales data to identify patterns, trends, product demand, and opportunities for growth.
  • Analyze product performance data and metrics to inform product development and management of product lifecycles.
  • Automate data collection processes and improve reporting efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of professional, related experience.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software for data visualization (e.g., Excel, Access, Crystal).
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or PowerBI preferred.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource programs (ERPs) and customer resource management (CRMs) tools; Macola experience a plus.
  • Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
