About the position

As an Operations Analyst at NCR Atleos, you will play a crucial role in optimizing financial access and operational efficiency for our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include auditing terms entry against contracts, resolving discrepancies, and effectively communicating resolutions. You will be expected to respond to issues related to payment data entry or calculation through various channels, ensuring that all customer service interactions are handled with professionalism and accuracy. In this role, you will create complex calculations to determine customer commissions, ensuring that all calculations are mathematically sound. You will also be responsible for querying, cleansing, and validating conversion data for payments processed between legacy and new systems. Your analytical skills will be put to the test as you analyze data to identify root causes of issues and develop process improvements or retrain personnel to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Additionally, you will analyze the profitability of terminals and collaborate with the Sales team to improve overall profitability. Your ability to identify lost revenue and implement solutions will be key to your success. You will assist the team with various monthly tasks, including commission payment runs and fee settlement reports, while preparing Fee Settlement statements for customers. Gathering business and data requirements from stakeholders, you will document current and future processes using visual models and flow charts, ensuring clarity and understanding across the organization. You will work with various systems, including CORE, Cardlink, Doclink, and SQL, among others, to support your analytical tasks and reporting needs. This position requires a strong commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement in all operational processes.

Responsibilities

  • Audit terms entry against contract, resolve discrepancies, and communicate resolution.
  • Respond to issues related to payment data entry or calculation through any channel in writing or verbally.
  • Create complicated calculations to pay customer commissions, ensuring calculations are mathematically correct.
  • Provide customer service to both internal and external customers related to commission payments.
  • Query, cleanse, and validate conversion data for payments processed between old and new systems.
  • Analyze data to determine root cause and develop process improvement or retrain personnel to ensure accuracy and efficiency of processes.
  • Analyze profitability of terminals and work with Sales to improve profitability.
  • Analyze data to find lost revenue and bring to fruition.
  • Query data to assist the team with investigation of issues and monthly tasks such as commission payment runs, fee settlement reports, updates to existing data, and creation of new data.
  • Prepare Fee Settlement statements for customers.
  • Gather business and data requirements from business stakeholders.
  • Identify, document, and implement business process improvements.
  • Design and deploy databases to assist sales and accounting (operational and reporting).
  • Produce reporting and metrics as requested by business leadership.
  • Document current and future processes, including both manual and automated, using visual models, flow charts, and written narrative.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience in Operations, Business, or Quantitative fields.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask or shift quickly between tasks.
  • Positive attitude and ability to see and implement solutions.
  • Desire to learn and ability to learn quickly.
  • Strong independent decision-making skills and ability to work independently.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and tenacity to seek out answers.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong Excel skills, preferably intermediate or higher.
  • Knowledge of Power Query & Power Pivot is a plus.
  • Data Analysis & Modeling experience, particularly Dimensional Modeling, is a plus.
  • Ability to work overtime when necessary to complete projects per timeline.
  • Must be able to successfully pass all applicable background screening tests.
