About the position

The Business Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in aligning healthcare business objectives with technical solutions in a data-driven environment. This position involves managing reporting requests, conducting root cause analyses, and analyzing professional billing data to identify gaps and recommend solutions that meet business needs. The analyst engages with stakeholders to facilitate understanding of data-driven changes that can enhance efficiency and add value to the organization.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes data, root causes issues, and identifies opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborates with various stakeholders, including internal/external clients and development teams, to ensure alignment with the company's strategic roadmap.
• Accountable for the development, maintenance, and/or entry of data for dashboards, KPIs, and reporting.
• Acts as a bridge between business and technology units, ensuring that data technology solutions align with business objectives.
• Understands and breaks down intricate business issues, assessing how automation and data-driven approaches can be implemented to solve them.
• Spots areas of inefficiency within revenue cycle operations and recommends enhancements, focusing on data-driven scalability, automation, and agility.
• Analyzes business data to inform strategic decisions and presents actionable insights to executives and stakeholders.
• Ensures key stakeholders are aware of current or future development activities.
• Tracks and manages the progression of projects through their lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare financial management, or related field required.
• 2+ years of experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in a hospital or large physician practice.
• Experience analyzing complex issues and providing effective solutions, with the ability to identify root causes and propose solutions.
• Experience with technology solutions in the healthcare space.
• Experience working with development teams and multiple stakeholders to coordinate efforts towards common goals.
• Experience managing project scope to deliver quality results.
• Experience working with virtual team members.
