About the position

Our client, a Fortune 1000 financial services company, is seeking Business Operations Analysts to join their team. This role is crucial for coordinating with internal stakeholders and partners to facilitate platform updates and the installation of services for retirement plan clients. The position is structured as a 2-year contract and offers a hybrid work environment, making it essential for candidates to reside in or near Charlotte, Denver, or Dallas. As a Business Operations Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work either as a W2 employee or as an Independent Contractor, providing flexibility in your employment arrangement. In this role, you will partner with external vendors and internal teams to gather all necessary data for each transition. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all plan data is comprehensive, inclusive, and accurate, which is vital for the success of the enterprise's clients and transitions. You will be expected to implement projects for institutional retirement plans, ensuring high-quality data outcomes and offering consultative data solutions to address plan administration challenges. Additionally, you will be responsible for escalating risks and issues related to retirement plan implementations in a timely manner, engaging with the appropriate resources in a highly-matrixed environment to resolve any data issues that may arise, including collaboration with clients, plan management services, and IT departments.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • University degree
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Operations Analyst, End User Computing Analyst, or operations analyst
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years of experience preferred
  • Financial services experience
  • Agile experience is a plus
  • FINRA Registrations: Series 6 or 7
