About the position

The Business Operations Analyst at Accenture Federal Services plays a crucial role in supporting the service delivery or product teams by managing resources, projects, and budgets to achieve business and client goals. This position requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail, as the analyst will oversee ongoing projects and ensure they run smoothly and on time. The role involves developing demand management processes, providing training on project management methods, and facilitating project governance and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Support service delivery or product teams in managing resources, projects, and budgets.
  • Develop and execute demand management processes as needed.
  • Provide training and education on standard project management requirements and methods.
  • Facilitate project governance and reporting.
  • Create models to improve business decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four years of relevant work experience without a degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in project administration/support or operations administration/support.
  • 2+ years of experience with resource tracking, status reporting, metrics reporting and analysis, time reporting, deliverable tracking, procurement, finance reporting, expense reporting, issue and risk tracking, change control management, accounts receivable/payable, and service management reporting.
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel or advanced knowledge of the application.
  • US Citizenship is required (No Dual Citizenship).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with MS Project, MS Project Server/Project Web Access (PWA) or other Work Planning applications.
  • Experience with JIRA or other Agile tools/reporting applications.
  • Experience with Power BI highly preferred.
  • Proficient to advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite - Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Power Point.
