About the position

The Business Operations Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial reports, optimizing business processes, and making data-driven decisions to enhance the performance of a multi-site dental group. This role is crucial for streamlining operations, improving efficiency, and maximizing financial performance within the organization. The position is mostly remote, requiring the candidate to be within a 3-hour commuting distance for monthly in-person meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial reports, including revenue, expenses, and key performance indicators (KPIs), to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders for operational optimization.
  • Collect and analyze large healthcare data sets, including patient records and financial data.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to extract, manipulate, and analyze datasets for insights.
  • Design and implement data visualization dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and revenue optimization based on data analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and align objectives.
  • Communicate analysis findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics, consulting, or business operations.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with dental practice management software and electronic health records systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance in the dental industry, including HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
