About the position

The position at OneSource Distributors involves working as a key member of the Supply Chain team, focusing on strategic pricing decisions to enhance margin and profitability. The role requires collaboration with various departments to manage vendor and customer pricing, particularly within the Assembly & Manufacturing branch. Responsibilities include analyzing vendor pricing, conducting market research, and developing pricing models to optimize strategies for different customer segments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic pricing decisions to grow margin and profitability.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments on vendor and customer pricing.
  • Review vendor pricing specific to customers and vendors in the Assembly & Manufacturing branch.
  • Analyze Work Order component costing and pricing.
  • Conduct impact analysis on vendor price changes and provide recommendations.
  • Manage cost and price change reviews for key customers.
  • Interact directly with vendors regarding customer-specific costs.
  • Review Rockwell contract pricing across the company for Rockwell customers.
  • Conduct SPA opportunity reviews across the company.
  • Review pricing tools for third-party software and customer use.
  • Gather and analyze data on market trends, competitor pricing, and vendor costs.
  • Develop and maintain pricing models and tracking to optimize pricing strategies.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer behavior and preferences.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to leadership on pricing strategies and tactics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S.) from a 4-year college or University.
  • 5 years of electrical distribution experience.
  • 5 years of vendor cost/pricing experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills.
  • Highly organized and process-oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks consistently and on time.
  • Understanding of vendor pricing and rebates.
  • Preferred experience in the electrical distribution industry.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
