American Leadership Academy Applied Technology School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Business Operations and Management Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time position requires candidates to possess a valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card. The primary responsibility of the Business/Finance Teacher is to plan, organize, and implement an instructional program that enables students to develop their career and educational potential. The teacher will be expected to deliver daily classroom instruction that aligns with approved lesson plans, ensuring that all school and district policies and procedures are strictly adhered to. In addition to classroom instruction, the teacher will be responsible for fostering sustainable relationships with parents, school personnel, and members of the public. This includes submitting grades and attendance in accordance with school procedures and preparing the classroom and lab for effective instruction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and team collaboration skills, along with positive interpersonal and communication abilities. Organizational and self-management skills are essential to effectively handle multiple responsibilities, and a commitment to going above and beyond to achieve goals is highly valued. Strong planning, execution, and problem-solving skills are also critical for success in this role, along with dependability and a patient, understanding demeanor. Candidates for the Business/Finance Teacher position must hold a Certificate in The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Business and Marketing, along with a minimum of three years of experience working in the Business/Finance industry. While experience teaching Business and Finance courses is preferred, exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to manage stressful situations are essential attributes for this role.
