About the position

The Business Operations - Business Analyst Senior role is focused on enhancing business operations through effective change management and analysis. The position requires a blend of technical and interpersonal skills to support application deployment, template updates, and infrastructure changes, while ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer value.

Responsibilities

• Support application deployment four times a year, averaging four hours each time.
• Update templates approximately twice a week, averaging one hour each time.
• Assist with infrastructure changes four times a year, averaging two hours each time.
• Gather requirements and write user stories for Agile product delivery.
• Utilize Jira technology for project management and tracking.
• Analyze business operations and provide insights for improvement.
• Collaborate with both business and technical teams to solve challenges.
• Develop strong partnerships and working relationships across departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5+ years of work experience in business operations or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience in change management and/or business operations.
• Knowledge of primary or secondary lending markets.
• Agile product delivery experience, including requirements gathering and writing user stories.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL experience.
• In-depth understanding of Microsoft Excel, including formatting, formulas, and macros.
• Technical background in computer science or related fields is highly desirable.
• Understanding of the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Technical certifications related to computer science or business analysis.
• Experience with additional project management tools beyond Jira.
