About the position

The Business Operations Coordinator serves as the Office Administrator for the Division of Renal Diseases and Hypertension at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. This role involves managing administrative tasks, supporting division leadership, and ensuring smooth office operations. The position is integral to maintaining a welcoming environment and facilitating various logistical and operational functions within the division.

Responsibilities

  • Processes purchase orders, invoices, and employee reimbursements.
  • Manages purchasing card transactions, reconciliation, and monthly report for the Division head.
  • Coordinates all logistics for Visiting Professors including organizing travel arrangements and daily itinerary.
  • Handles general administrative duties such as ordering and organizing office supplies, maintaining copy machines, and managing mail deliveries.
  • Schedules and maintains conference room logistics.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution (Entry Level).
  • One (1) year of professional level experience with business administration or operational support (Intermediate Level).
  • Two (2) years of professional level experience with business administration or operational support (Senior Level).
  • A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis for all levels.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior work experience in a medical or higher education setting.
  • Prior experience hosting a guest speaker.
  • Prior experience working with faculty.
