About the position

The Business Operations Coordinator at Intermountain Healthcare plays a crucial role in supporting the Women's Health and Neonatology Clinical Enterprise Program. This position involves close collaboration with a leadership team, department, or service line to enhance business operations strategy and manage various tasks effectively. The coordinator will be responsible for coordinating local or system-wide strategic initiatives and acting as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders. In this role, the Business Operations Coordinator will provide tactical and operational support, which includes project planning, resource coordination, and performance tracking. The incumbent will conduct analyses to identify efficient and cost-effective solutions that align with business and functional requirements. Additionally, the coordinator will document project deliverables, define the scope and content for assigned projects, and assist in preparing reports and completing deliverables. As needed, the coordinator will prepare presentations to communicate findings and suggest recommendations to stakeholders. This position is hybrid, requiring the incumbent to work Monday through Friday during regular business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Women's Health and Neonatology Clinical Enterprise Program.
  • Coordinate local or system-wide strategic initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide tactical and operational support including project planning and resource coordination.
  • Conduct analyses to define efficient, cost-effective solutions.
  • Document project deliverables, scope, and content for assigned projects.
  • Assist in report preparation and deliverable completion.
  • Prepare presentations on findings and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated project coordination experience managing complex, multi-scope projects.
  • Advanced level experience with computer system applications including spreadsheet, word processing, and database applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting a leadership or department team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with internal and external senior-level leaders.
  • Proficient time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and professional behavior while acting decisively.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in an independent manner.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including discernment in spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
  • Experience managing remote and in-person meetings.
