About the position

The Business Operations Coordinator role at Randstad US is designed for individuals with a degree and a strong problem-solving aptitude. This position involves supporting financial service operations, particularly in life insurance underwriting, while collaborating with Series 6 Advisors to enhance client experiences. Responsibilities

  • Perform a multitude of operational tasks related to incoming life insurance underwriting correspondence
  • Audit all incoming new life insurance business underwriting-related correspondence for accuracy and integrity
  • Research and resolve discrepancies utilizing multiple software systems and critical thinking
  • Ensure that all processes, forms, and timelines adhere to service-level agreements
  • Communicate with internal and external business partners to gather needed information
  • Interact with Series 6 Advisors to solve issues in a prompt manner
  • Ensure deadlines are met with 100% accuracy
  • Change course of action multiple times during the day to handle current prioritization

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 year of experience in banking operations or related field
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and other computer applications
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with underwriting processes
  • Familiarity with insurance premiums and 1035 Exchange Forms
