About the position

The Business Operations Manager position at MAINSAIL Group is a contract role supporting the United States Air Force and the Enterprise IT and Data Program. This role involves strategic and tactical program planning, program integration, and effective communication to ensure the successful execution of various initiatives within the Department of Defense.

Responsibilities

  • Assimilate information quickly, communicate effectively, and remain organized to monitor progress toward various taskings and initiatives.
  • Provide strategic and tactical program planning using knowledge of systems acquisition and program management principles.
  • Develop, track, and update integrated roadmaps and schedules for a large, multi-program portfolio.
  • Communicate effectively, providing quality acquisition and program documentation such as briefings and plans.
  • Track and inform portfolio expenditures, develop spend plans, and build documentation for financial requirements.
  • Use process improvement expertise to inform business operations and resource utilization.
  • Draft documents for leadership approval and signature.
  • Coordinate, document, monitor, and support various meetings and conferences.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in DoD business procedures.
  • Active Secret Clearance with ability to upgrade to Top Secret.
