About the position

The position is responsible for managing budgeting and supply functions for the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) organization at Constellation. This includes working closely with the Finance team and CSO departmental budget leads on monthly reporting, forecasting, and Long-Range Plan (LRP) development. The role also involves supporting contract requisitions and extensions, managing invoicing for CSO vendors, and assisting with lobbying and corporate political compliance activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage CSO contracting including the initiation of contracts, contract amendments and extensions.
• Manage voucher and contract invoicing for CSO vendors to ensure it follows Supply policies and procedures.
• Manage budget reporting in coordination with the Corporate Finance team and provide monthly/periodic updates to budget owners.
• Coordinate the development of departmental budgets with the Sr. Manager, Business Operations, Lobbying/Political Compliance & CSO Operations and Corporate Finance representatives.
• Assist in the development of the 5-year LRP for the CSO organization.
• Support the CSO organization by providing troubleshooting and responding to inquiries from CSO vendors and staff.
• Manage CSO Beeline and Contractor functions.
• Support the lobbying and corporate political compliance activities in coordination with the Sr. Manager, Business Operations, Lobbying/Political Compliance & CSO Operations.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree in business, economics, supply operations or related field.
• 8 years of related experience with at least 2 years focused on departmental operations functions - or at least 6 years of related experience with at least 4 years focused on departmental operations functions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and consultative skills to realize effective organizational coordination and workflow management.
• Understanding of Constellation's Supply process and related systems including Oracle and Asset Suite.
• Experience with public policy, corporate affairs and/or external relations.
