About the position

The Business Operations Manager for Global Services at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is responsible for managing and scaling operational support for a rapidly growing portfolio of work across multinational enterprises. This role focuses on operational excellence, providing strategic guidance to leadership, and ensuring efficient execution of business processes. The successful candidate will analyze initiatives, develop scalable mechanisms, and communicate insights to stakeholders, ultimately driving business planning and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic guidance to Practice Leaders, bringing deep knowledge of business operations best practices.
  • Manage dashboards, reports, and executive review documents, providing insights and partnership with leaders.
  • Lead and review the end-to-end execution of the annual planning process, including headcount and goal planning.
  • Develop and manage annual and multi-year meeting cadence to drive business planning.
  • Anticipate the needs of the business and proactively develop new plans as needed.
  • Conduct opportunity pipeline analysis and work with leadership to forecast demand by specialty.
  • Support Practice Managers in maximizing available capacity to staff customer engagements.
  • Act as a business partner to Global Services Security leadership team, providing insights to shape business strategy.
  • Establish business rhythm and cadence, leading meetings through deliverables and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical departments to drive innovation in processes and tools.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in finance, business management, and sales operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
  • Experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies.
